Hello!

My name is Dawn and I am the owner of Dawn Byham Photography. I live in Southlake, TX, a suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth, with my husband, Mike. Right now we are empty nesters since our two girls have recently graduated from college and are living on their own. Besides photography, some other things that I enjoy are traveling to new places, riding bikes, hiking, gardening, reading and creating family photo albums (which, in full disclosure, I am way behind on).

I have always loved photography and am so excited that I am able to pursue this passion that has been with me since high school. Over the years, I have taken many in-person and on-line classes for photography, off-camera flash and photo editing.

I love taking photos of pre-teens and teenagers to help them realize how beautiful they really are. I love it when I can create a photo that makes someone feel a little bit more happy and confident in themself.

I also love creating beautiful photos of families and children that freeze a particular moment or stage in life. Photos help us remember those precious moments when our minds can barely remember them anymore. I have so much fun looking at old photos and remembering the story that each photo tells.
